A deposit is due prior to our 1 hour consultation for any Web Design service as well as before any work begins on a project. All deposits are non-refundable and are payable through PayPal, email money transfers or cash. Unless otherwise specified in writing, the client is charged the remaining balance upon completion of the project. Website credentials as well as theme and plugin licenses are given to the client when all payments are cleared. If a project is cancelled or abandoned and the final payment is not completed, Designer Boss holds all rights to the assets, theme and plugins used to design the website.

60 day payment plans are available for Tailor-Made Website Packages where the payment may be split into 5 installments which are due on the 15th and 1st of the month (see TIMELINE  & PAYMENT PLAN tab for example and details).

The website can be completed and live during this period of time and the client may have access to the back-end of their website.

Failure to pay on agreed upon dates, may result in project delays, website suspension until payments are made, or a termination of the sales contract depending on the stage of project and circumstances. I understand that unforeseen events may occur so if you do need a payment extension, please notify me in advance.

Before you can get online you need to sign up for hosting and register a domain name. Hosting is basically like purchasing your own piece of land in the internet world to build your website on. A domain name is your web address (example: www.mybusinessname.com)

Designer Boss is not responsible for any web Hosting or Domain registration fees after the initial 1 year free term mentioned in the website packages details. Hosting and Domain are purchased through SiteGround.com and are mandatory in order to begin a web design project. Once the 1 year term is up for renewal, the client is responsible to pay for their hosting at the renewal rate specified by SiteGround (approximately $11.95/mth for hosting and $15.99/year for the domain name)
